Namaste, and welcome to the New Earth Leaders School! In this foundational class, instructor Kashish Gambhir shares critical concepts you must master to achieve the astral body experience. We are studying Mysticism: the quickest way to reach the truth of your existence through direct spiritual experiences.
How to Have an Astral Body Experience: Understanding the Soul, the Third Eye, and the 10th Door | New Earth Leaders School (Class 1)
Key Concepts Covered in This Class:
1. The Third Eye (Dasha Dwar): Learn about the Third Eye, the inner eye of perception located behind and between the eyebrows. This is not a physical eye but an eye of perception that allows a person to see beyond what the two physical eyes can see.
- In Hinduism, the Third Eye is known by powerful names, including the 10th door (Dasha Dwar) and Shiva Netra (the eye of Shiva), the deity responsible for creation, protection, and destruction of the universe.
2. The Soul (Atma): We clarify the concept of the Soul or Atma. The soul is what animates us and makes the body alive. A human being is composed of the mind, body, and soul. Understanding the soul is vital, as it is formless, colorless, and without nationality or religion.
- Crucial Connection: The Third Eye is the seat of the soul within the body.
3. The Nine Doors and the 10th Door: Discover the spiritual significance of the body’s openings. The body has nine openings (two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, one mouth, and two openings below). These nine openings take the energy and attention of the soul outside into the world.
- The 10th door (the Third Eye) is the only door that takes the soul inwards and upwards.
- When the 10th door opens, the soul turns inwards and upwards, leading to the astral body experience and a natural expansion of consciousness.
Mystics on the Astral Journey (Direct Spiritual Experience):
We examine how mystics across different traditions describe this exact experience and the significance of the doors:
- Rumi advises shutting down external ears so internal ears (of the astral world) may grasp the hidden mystery. More on Rumi.
- Guru Nanak Ji (spiritual teacher of Sikhs) mentioned walking without feet and seeing without eyes (referencing the astral body and the Third Eye).
If you are tired of merely reading books and feeling emptiness inside because you lack genuine spiritual experience, Mysticism provides the shortest and easiest way to gain that conviction and faith.
